Dianne Bruent Lost 40lbs.......10lbs in The First Week



Here is Dianne's Story


"Hi my name is Dianne Brunet and here is the story of my journey towards weight loss.

It all first started back in December/08 when I woke up one morning looked at myself in the mirror and hated what I saw. What I saw was a 35 year old woman that weighed 189 pounds, that had a swelled up face from eating unhealthy and that was aching everywhere.

I would wake up sore and tired and I would go to bed sore and tired. There was no energy to spare and I felt I had no time for anything because my energy level was very low. I told my husband "That's it , I'm signing up for Revolution Weight Loss , I hate the way I look and feel". I had a very sore back because of the amount of weight I was carrying. I told my husband that the money that was spent between the both of us per week at Tim Hortons and fast food, I could easily afford the 50 pound program. He said that if I decided to lose weight he would support me and he would start changing his lifestyle too. He joined the gym in early February when I started at the Revolution Weight Loss Clinic Jan 4/09.

January 4th/09 was the day my life and my whole family's life changed for the better. On the first week on the program I lost 10 pounds. Yahoo, I'm on the right track. My husband didn't join Revolution but he managed to lose 17 pounds within 2 weeks just working out on his own while I attended the program in the group fitness room. We changed the way we thought about food. There was no more take out, no junk food etc... We were all doing well by this point. I told my kids that I was no longer going to give them lunch money on Fridays to go out with their friends at lunch. I had a much better idea. The $20 per week being spent on lunches was now going towards a personal trainer at the gym. The results were astonishing. My daughter has since lost 20 pounds, built self esteem, confidence and feels much better abour herself. My son plays football and since he has been going to the gym he has developed more speed and agility for his sports. All this from joining Revolution.........not bad!

What it's all about, in my opinion, is what you put in your mouth. By this I mean educating yourself with modern information about food and health in general. It's good to teach your kids and family good eating habits. I learned less sugar, starches, bad fat helps you get healthier and also helps you maintain a healthy weight. I received books, attended a very educational seminar, recieved a lot of helpful hints and info that makes me and my family the success we've become. What you get out of changing your lifestyle and losing weight in my opinion is what you put into it . The results in the end are up to you. I lost 40 pounds and my husband lost over 70 pounds. All the success was achieved in as early as 16 weeks"
